Wk 20 - Crazy, Clayzy, Glazey / Hare, Hare, Hare and jänis

Following my open tutorial with Pernille Spence I was encouraged to embrace the abstract and sculptural so attempted to make a piece that would be more successful than my previous one (see week 4). Inspired by the Arctic Hares I encountered whilst in Finland I developed some movement heavy sketches that I could interpret as through sculpture. I’m really pleased with the final result and it’s imbued me with a new sense of confidence with the potential of developing my practice!
